Ekaterine Mishveladze –The Press Speaker of the President of Georgia

In 1994 she graduated from Tbilisi State University and obtained her degree in Journalism. In 2007 she finished her studies in Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) and obtained her degree in Journalism and Media Studies.
 
Mrs. Mishveladze began her professional career in 1992 and until 2016 worked in "Ibervizia", "TBC TV", "Mze", "Imedi", and Channel 1 on the following positions: the correspondent of the news program “Monitori”, the anchorwoman of the analytical program “Movlena”, the author and anchorwoman of the investigative program “Negativi”, the anchorwoman of the TV festival “Mana”, the anchorwoman of the day show “Alioni”, the author and anchorwoman of the midday show “Nashuadgevi”, the author and anchorwoman of the business news program, the anchorwoman of the news program “Moambe”, the author and anchorwoman of the political talk show “Sajaro Politika”, “Moambe Pliusi”, “Pirveli Studia”, and the anchorwoman of the first TV debates during Mayoral, Parliamentary, and Presidential elections.
 
Also, throughout the period from 2000 to 2001, Mrs. Mishveladze has worked as the advisor at the media holding "Georgia Times".  From September 2001 to November 2001, she held the position of the Press Secretary at the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Property Management. From 2001 to 2003, Mrs. Mishveladze worked as the Press Secretary of the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Labor, Industry and Economics. She has also held the position of the visiting professor at Ilia State University.
 
On May 11, 2016 Mrs. Mishveladze was appointed as the Press Speaker of the President of Georgia.
 
Mrs. Mishveladze speaks fluent English and Russian.
 
She has a spouse and two children.
