Konstantine Natsvlishvili – Advisor to the President of Georgia on Education, Culture and Science



 
Konstantine Natsvlishvili was born on 28 September, 1978.
From 1995 to 2000 he was studying economics (accounting and audit) at Akaki Tsereteli State University in Kutaisi.
From 2001 to 2006 Konstantine Natsvlishvili was pursuing his studies in archeology at the University of Münster and the University of Trier in Germany.
From 2006 to 2009 he was studying cultural management at the University of Basel in Switzerland. In 2009 he obtained a master’s degree.
From 2010 to 2018 Konstantine Natsvlishvili was an expert for the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia invited by the UNESCO Committee for Cultural Heritage.
In 2018 he was a Head of the national program on scientific, educational and popular literature implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia for the Frankfurt Book Fair.
In 2017 Konstantine Natsvlishvili was a Director of the International Festival of Contemporary Art in Garikula, held in honor of Zdanevich Brothers.
From 2016 to 2017 he was working as a national expert on urban strategies for development at the Council of Europe in Georgia (COMUS).
From 2010 to 2011 he was a national expert of the Pilot Project for Rehabilitation of Cultural Heritage in Historic Towns (pp2) in Georgia, held as part of Kyiv Initiative Regional Program.
From 2010 to 2011 Konstantine Natsvlishvili was working as a Chief Administrator and Marketing Manager at Mikheil Tumanishvili Film Actor Theater.
In 2007 he was a Manager of exhibition and auction at “Internationales Forum Berlin”.
From 2014 to 2018 Konstantine Natsvlishvili was a member of the Commission on Export and Import of Cultural Property at the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia. From 2011 to 2018 he was a member of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Commission at the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia.
On December 28, 2018 Konstantine Natsvlishvili was appointed as an Advisor to the President of Georgia on Education, Culture and Science.
He speaks fluent German, English and Russian.
