President Margvelashvili Visits Archil Tatunashvili's Family in Tsilkani IDP Settlement

The President of Georgia, H.E. Giorgi Margvelashvili has visited Tsilkani IDP settlement and expressed sorrow over the death of Archil Tatunashvili. He has assessed this incident as disastrous killing, another tragedy and pain caused by Georgia’s occupation.
"We have lost a compatriot who has been serving Georgia, including in international missions. He has not shot a single bullet in Georgia. He had been serving own homeland and after his military service, lived a life of a peaceful citizen. We share the pain of Archil Tatunashvili’s family and all his relatives.
The State Security Service is working on the transportation of the deceased, as well as on the safe return of two of our fellow citizens whose fate is of high concern to us.
Obviously, it is very important to see the truth about the happenings in the occupied territories of Georgia, what we saw a year ago in Abkhazia and what we have seen today. This is a murder of innocent people; I cannot call this incident anything else. It is crucial this claim to be proved by evidence,” President Margvelashvili said.
