12 Meetings of Pardon Commission Have been Held Since 20th of November 2013 

 Meeting of Pardon Commission: December 13, 2013
On 13th of December 2013 Pardon Commission discussed 549 cases. As a result, on 18th of December 2013 President of Georgia pardoned 60 convicts: 47 convicts were released from penitentiary, including one woman and 3 minors. By Pardon Act imprisonment sentence was reduced to 13 convicts.  

 Meeting of Pardon Commission: January 15, 2014


On 15th of January 2014 Pardon Commission discussed 1147 cases. As a result, on 19th of January 2014 President of Georgia has pardoned 54 convicts: 38 convicts were released from penitentiary, including 3 women and one minor. By Pardon Act imprisonment sentence was reduced to 16 convicts, including one minor. 

Meeting of Pardon Commission: April 10, 12, 2014


On 10th and 12th of April 2014 Pardon Commission discussed 1750 cases. As a result, on 17th of April 2014 President of Georgia pardoned 95 convicts: 73 convicts were released from penitentiary, including 3 women. By Pardon Act imprisonment sentence was reduced to 22 convicts, including one woman and one minor. 

 
Meeting of Pardon Commission: April 10-23, 2014


From 10th of July to 23rd of July 2014 Pardon Commission has discussed 2743 cases. As a result, on 31st of July 2014 President of Georgia pardoned 280 convicts: 169 convicts were released from penitentiary, including 5 women and 4 minors. By Pardon Act imprisonment sentence was reduced to 111 convicts, including 3 women and 6 minors. 
 
Meeting of Pardon Commission: September 26-29, 2014


From 26th of September to 29th of September 2014 Pardon Commission has discussed 669 cases. As a result, on 8st of October 2014 President of Georgia pardoned 115 convicts: 88 convicts were released from penitentiary, including one woman and 4 minors. By Pardon Act imprisonment sentence was reduced to 27 convicts, including 3 minors. 

Meeting of Pardon Commission: November 14-15, 2014


On 14-15th of November 2014 Pardon Commission discussed 752 cases. As a result, on 21st of November 2014 President of Georgia pardoned 119 convicts: 91 convicts were released from penitentiary, including 2 women and one minor. By Pardon Act imprisonment sentence was reduced to 28 convicts, including one woman and one minor.



 Meeting of Pardon Commission: December 22-23, 2014


On 22-23rd of December 2014 Pardon Commission discussed 493 cases. As a result, on 30th of December 2014 President of Georgia pardoned 84 convicts: 63 convicts were released from penitentiary, including one woman and one minor. By Pardon Act imprisonment sentence was reduced to 21 convicts, including one woman and 4 minors.

 
Meeting of Pardon Commission: February 25-27, 2015


On 24-27th of February 2015 Pardon Commission discussed 1212 cases. As a result, on 2nd and 6th of March 2015 President of Georgia pardoned 197 convicts: 134 convicts were released from penitentiary, including 4 women and one minor. By Pardon Act imprisonment sentence was reduced to 63 convicts, including 4 women and 6 minors.

 Meeting of Pardon Commission: March 4, 2015


On 4th of March 2015 Pardon Commission discussed cases of 3 woman convicts sentenced to life imprisonment. As a result, on 6th of March 2015 President of Georgia made decision to pardon these women. It is important to note that as a result of aforementioned decision of President of Georgia, there are no women in Georgian penitentiary systems, who are sentenced to life imprisonment.
 Meeting of Pardon Commission: March 30-31, 2015


On 30-31st of March 2015 Pardon Commission discussed 460 cases. As a result, 14th of April 2015 President of Georgia pardoned 78 convicts: 57 convicts were released from penitentiary, and imprisonment sentence was reduced to 21 convicts.

 Meeting of Pardon Commission:  June 1-6, 2015


On 1-6th of June 2015 Pardon Commission discussed 1329 cases. As a result, on 12th of June 2015 President of Georgia pardoned 226 convicts: 180 convicts were released from penitentiary, including 10 women and one minor. By Pardon Act imprisonment sentence was reduced to 46 convicts, including 4 women.
 


Meeting of Pardon Commission:  July 17-18, 2015


On 17-18th of July 2015 Pardon Commission discussed 589 cases. As a result, on 23rd of July 2015 President of Georgia pardoned 98 convicts: 74 convicts were released from penitentiary, including one woman and 2 minors. By Pardon Act imprisonment sentence was reduced to 24 convicts, including 1 minor.
