Irine Shengelia - Advisor to the President of Georgia on Communication and Strategic Planning
Irine Shengelia was born on July 14, 1968. 
From 1987 to 1992 she was studying piano at Tbilisi State Conservatoire.
From 1991 to 1993 Irine Shengelia was an anchorwoman of the entertainment show “VVV” and the news program “Monitor”.
Irine Shengelia was a tutor at Tbilisi 9th Music College from 1994 to 1998.
In 2002 she began working at the TV company “Imedi”. 
From 2002 to 2005 she was a journalist of the program “Art Boulevard” and an anchorwoman of the two talk shows “First Step” and “Step for Health”. From 2005 to 2009 she worked as an anchorwoman of the program “Your Doctor”.
In 2007 Irine Shengelia was a member of the Professional Development Council at the Ministry of Health.
From 2009 to 2011 she worked as a PR Manager at the insurance company "IC Group".
From 2011 to 2012 Irine Shengelia resumed working at “Imedi” as a producer of “Flash Mob Show”. From 2012 to 2017 she was a producer of “Good Morning Show” also at “Imedi”.
Irine Shengelia worked as the Deputy Director General of the Association of Museums from 2016 to December 31, 2018.
On December 31, 2018 she was appointed as an Adviser to the President of Georgia on Communication and Strategic Planning.
She speaks fluent English and Russian.
