​State Flag Lowered to Half-Staff at the Presidential Palace

The state flag is flying at half-staff at the Presidential Palace on the Soviet Occupation Day to commemorate the Red Army invasion of Georgia in 1921.

The state flags are lowered to half-staff on the buildings of all administrative units across the country in accordance with the resolution of the Parliament of Georgia adopted on 21 July, 2010. Based on the resolution, the Soviet Occupation Day is annually observed on February 25.
