First Public Tour Held at the Presidential Palace for Students

Deputy Head of President Zourabichvili’s Administration Ketevan Makharashvili, also in charge of minority matters, hosted a first public tour at the Presidential Palace for students from Nasakrala and Zoti, two villages in the Muslim community in Guria.

The students visited Tbilisi to take part in cultural and educational activities as part of the project carried out by the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies and British Embassy in Tbilisi. As part of the tour, they were introduced with the history of the Palace.

These students should get proper education, broaden their perspectives and maximally and efficiently use all the opportunities, Ketevan Makharashvili said, emphasizing the importance of holding the first public tour for the children from Georgia’s high mountainous regions. In her view, it is of utmost importance to pay special attention to these students and involve them in the ongoing events in the capital.
