The President of Israel and the First Lady Held the State Dinner in honor of Giorgi Margvelashvili and Maka Chichua

State dinner was held in the Presidential Palace of Israel in honor of the President of Georgia and the First Lady.
The President of Georgia thanked the President of Israel, Reuven Rivlin and his wife –Nechama Rivlin for inviting and for brilliant hosting.
Official toasts were drunk by the both presidents and both emphasized 26 centuries friendship of the two countries.
“Today, I am with people, who know what it means to fight for freedom, statehood and peace. I am in the city which is a very special example of joining ofdifferent cultures and civilizations. I am at the holy land which is the unique treasure for the whole world. Georgia is connectedto this countrywith many centuries history “- stated Giorgi Margvelashvili at official dinner.
The President of Georgia underlined that the friendship of Jewish and Georgian people is a result of these nations’common values.
 “Israel and Georgia are both deservedly proud with their history, traditions and cultural treasures. Both countries share humanism and universal mankind values. All these,give us strong basisfor furtherdevelopment of cooperation between our states. 
State of Israel is one of the most important partners of Georgia. We must spare no effort to deepen our existing bonds and relations. We must start a new qualitative level of this partnership.
I am sure, that these current meetings are great impulse for us to use the all existing potential of our countries’ cooperation.” – stated the President of Georgia in his official toast.
The President of Israel, Reuven Rivlin called the cooperation between these two countries very productive and stated that Israel must not forgetthe support of Georgian Government regarding the international diplomacy.As he mentioned, Israel also expressed clear support for development and well-being of Georgiamany times.
“This is productive and hopeful cooperation –partnership, which will lead us to our children’s future.” – says the President of Israel in his official toast.
The state visit of Giorgi Margvelashvili to Israel will end on 20 October.
