Telephone Conversation was Held between the Presidents of Georgian and the Ukraine

President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili focused on bilateral relations between Georgia and the Ukraine during the telephone conversation with his Ukrainian Counterpart Petre Poroshenko.
The President of Georgia once more expressed his firm support to the Ukraine’s territorial integrity and highlighted the necessity to follow the Minsk treaties.
According to the President of Georgia, it is important to follow the format of Minsk treaty in order to de-escalate the situation.
The Presidents of the two countries talked about the necessity of deepening bilateral relations and focused on activation of Euro integrational and regional cooperation formats.
Giorgi Margvelashvili also discussed the importance of local elections planned in the Ukraine.
The Presidents of the two countries also emphasized the issue of holding international conference on security issues in Tbilisi.
During the conversation Giorgi Margvelashvili and Petre Poroshenko expressed their hope that in the nearest future their meeting will be held within the visit to the US.
