President Margvelashvili: It Is Crucial Next Generations to Think about Georgia’s Future

Giorgi Margvelashvili, President of Georgia has held a meeting with participants of the campaign “Independence for Freedom – School Clubs Network” financed by the Presidential Reserve Fund.
The project aims at developing clubs at schools, raising students' awareness of the 100th anniversary of the independence of the First Georgian Republic and their involvement in relevant activities, including development of civil society and activation of school life.
President Margvelashvili has awarded certificates to active and successful schools participating in the project. He has underscored importance of the project that unites schools of Gurjaani, Kvareli, Mtskheta, Kareli, Kharagauli, Zestafoni, Baghdati and Tbilisi.
"Thinking about Georgia and our homeland’s future is crucial for the country’s development. Through your participation you ensure active involvement of various representatives of our society that understand how important it is the next generations to take care of their country," President Margvelashvili said.
The project involving about 200 students from 20 different schools of Georgia, teachers, public agencies and regional community representatives is implemented by the Georgian Institute for Debate and Education.
