"Your participation in these exercises is a guarantee of stability and peace," Giorgi Margvelashvili, President of Georgia, has addressed the military personnel participating in the multinational exercise, Noble Partner 2018.

According to President Margvelashvili, participation of NATO member and partner countries in Noble Partner 2018, along with Georgia, is of utmost importance for advancing Georgia’s defense capabilities and ensuring security in the region. "Today our unity, friendship, and common aims are to protect peace, well-being, and good health of our citizens. Your contribution to the strength of our states is colossal. Our friendship aims at protecting the key value, sustainability of our countries and our societies. Dear soldiers, your participation in these exercises guarantees stability and peace that our governments serve. Today, Georgian soldiers are encouraged by the heroic deeds of your compatriots revealed on the battlefield. You are in the country, 20% of which is occupied by our Russian neighbor, but you are standing on the ground with the soldiers who will peacefully rebuild our country's territorial integrity. I welcome your unity. I appreciate your efforts in strengthening our military capabilities as part of this exercise. We hope that these skills will never be used in a real armed conflict and none of our soldiers will be harmed. On behalf of the Georgian people, we thank you for your service to our homeland. God bless your countries and God bless Georgia!” President Margvelashvili said. The training is carried out by the Georgian Armed Forces and the United States European Command (EUCOM). Noble Partner is held for the fourth time in Georgia. In 2018, the training involves more than 3000 military personnel from the NATO member and partner countries.
