President Margvelashvili Discusses Recent Death of Georgian Citizen in Occupied Tskhinvali Region with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark

The President of Georgia, H.E. Giorgi Margvelashvili has begun the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Mr. Anders Samuelsen by briefing the visitor on the recent death of Archil Tatunashvili in Tskhinvali region.
"Our compatriot who has been protecting global security for years has been killed several hours ago on the occupied territory of Georgia. He was a Georgian military who has been defending global peace and security in international missions. Unfortunately, he has been kidnapped and killed,” President Margvelashvili said and assessed this incident as tragic.
“I am pleased that you have paid a visit to Georgia. Using this opportunity, I would like to thank you for supporting our territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration," President Margvelashvili pointed out and underscored the importance of Denmark Neighborhood Program.
"Thank you for the vital support that Denmark has been showing Georgia for years. I am convinced that your support will further be reinforced,” President Margvelashvili added.
For his part, Mr. Samuelsen has once again expressed support for Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Current environment in the occupied territories of Georgia, Russian aggressive policy, borderization and creeping annexation have also been thoroughly discussed at the meeting held at the Presidential Palace.
