“We, also have discussed those political processes that are concerned about Abkhazia’s Constitution and the possible changes in it was highlighted as well.

The discussion was also focused to that bill, which was entered in the Parliament due to the Constitutional Court and we have shared to the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, as well as to the Prime Minister some our question marks with this bill and fixed our positions that realistically, this law, does not restrict the scope for efficient operation and the Constitutional Court – the most significant political institute should maintained the critical status that it owns.

We also stated to the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia that we expect timely discussion due to the issue of judicial candidates’, as this process was prolonged and makes some obstacles to the Constitutional Court of Georgia, because there is deficiency of judges and we consider that the Parliament finally must make a decision regarding this matter”, - was stated by the President of Georgia.
