President Zourabichvili and Federica Mogherini Discuss the Situation in the Occupied Territories of Georgia

As part of her first working visit to Brussels, President Salome Zourabichvili has held a meeting with Federica Mogherini, Vice-President of the European Commission and High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
Georgia’s occupied territories was one of the key topics raised at the meeting. Federica Mogherini has underscored that Georgia is still high on the EU agenda, expressing delight that President Zourabichvili has paid her first visit to Brussels.
President Zourabichvili paid a visit to Brussels on January 21 and already held meetings with Johannes Hahn - European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Jean-Claude Juncker - President of the European Commission, Dimitris Avramopoulos - European Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship, Donald Tusk - President of the European Council, and members of the European Parliament – Ana Gomes, Clare Moody, Sajjad Karim, Heidi Hautala, Michael Gahler.
