The President of Georgia Met the Representatives of European Media Sources

The President of Georgia H.E. Giorgi Margvelashvili met with the European Journalists group, who are in Georgia within the media tour frames.
 
The meeting was held in Q and A session. The journalists have paid special attention to the process of Georgia’s integration into the European and Euro-Atlantic structures and to the Georgia’s expectations for the NATO Warsaw Summit.  
 
The discussion was also focused on the pre-election environment, on the recent developments in Georgia’s occupied territories and on Russian-Georgian relationships.
 
Based on the information received, the journalists will prepare the materials, which will be published in various leading European media sources, among them are: the Austrian “Der Standard”, the Danish “Politiken”, the German “Zeit Online”, the Polish Press Agency (PAP), the Spanish “El Pais”.     
 
The visit is organized by both, the contractor organization of the European Commission - European Journalism Centre (www.ejc.net) and Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA).
 
The media tour of a group with the 15 European Journalists is organized by the European Commission “The Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations Directorate General” and aims introducing to the European media the neighborhood countries.
