The President of Georgia Pardoned 95 Convicted Persons

The President of Georgia have pardoned 95 convicted persons with the Act of Grace.
 
There are 69 convicts and, among them 10 women, and 2 minors, who will be fully released from prison, today.
 
Due to the mentioned issue, the Chairperson of the Pardon Commission, Mr. Zviad Koridze has held press conference, today.
 
Based on the presidential pardon, 26 convicted persons sentence were reduced, and among them 2 women and 2 minors. 
 
The Pardon Commission was working on mentioned act during the period of April 20 -23, 2016. Pardon Commission discussed 597 cases totally and submitted its recommendations to the President.
 
As stated Mr. Zviad Koridze, among the pardoned prisoners there are no convicted persons on deliberate grave crimes.
