The President of Georgia and the First Lady Visited the Leuville Georgian Estate

The President of Georgia H.E. Giorgi Margvelashvili and the First lady, as part of the official visit to France, visited the Leuville Georgian Estate and met with the descendants of the first republic government members
 
The President of Georgia and the First Lady have laid the wreaths at graves of Mr. Noe Zhordania and the members of the first republic government, in Leuville.
 
The President of Georgia has awarded the former mayor of Leuville Mr. Daniel Elpren with the Golden Fleece Order for his contribution to keep Leuville estate, within the French Republic, in 2001-2014 years, to protect the human rights of Georgian Diaspora representatives and in maintenance of the Georgians graves berried at Leuville cemetery. 
 
 “In these walls, Georgians were thinking about Georgia and what is even more important they were doing it with their French compatriots. I can remember several cases when French nation stood with us in the difficult moments for Georgian people.
 
As a symbol of friendship between our two nations and as a sign of gratitude, I would like to award the former mayor of Leuville with the Golden Fleece Order”, - was stated by the President of Georgia.
 
The President of Georgia has seen the Leuville renovated library financed by the Reserve Fund of the President of Georgia.
 
The delegation of the President of Georgia includes, the Head of the Administration of the President of Georgia Mr. Giorgi Abashishvili, Secretary of the National Security Council Mrs. Irine Imerlishvili, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Davit Dondua, the State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Issues Mr. Gela Dumbadze, the Ambassador of Georgia to the French Republic H.E. Eka Siradze – Delone, the Foreign Relations Secretary of the President of Georgia Mr. Tengiz Pkhaladze, and Political Secretary Mrs. Pikhria Chikhradze. The official visit of the President of Georgia will end on April 23.
