President Zourabichvili Appoints New Advisor on Defense and Security Affairs

President Salome Zourabichvili appointed today Mr. Gela Giorgadze as Advisor on Defense and Security Affairs.
In 1994-1998, Mr. Gela Giorgadze studied at the United Military Academy of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History. In 2000-2005 years, he studied at the Helmut Schmidt University (Bundeswehr Military University), where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Political Science.

In 1994-1998, he received a military education at the United Military Academy of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia. In 1995-1997, he completed the full Officer Course at Bundeswehr (FRG), and in 2016, the Command and Staff Officers Course at the same academic institution.
