President of Lithuania Visits Tbilisi

Dalia Grybauskaitė, President of Lithuania and Lithuanian state delegation have paid an official visit to Tbilisi, today.
The visit aims at strengthening bilateral dialogue between the two countries, supporting Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity through Lithuania’s participation in celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the First Democratic Republic of Georgia and discussing preparation for the upcoming NATO Summit.
Following the official reception at the Presidential Palace, the two presidents will hold a face-to-face meeting and make joint media statements.
Official lunch will also be held on behalf of President Margvelashvili.
As part of the visit, President Grybauskaitė will visit the Heroes Square to lay a wreath at the memorial of Georgian soldiers fallen in fight for the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Tomorrow President Grybauskaitė, along with other heads of delegations visiting Georgia, will attend celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the First Georgian Republic.
