Declaration of Intent on Cooperation in Cyber Security to Be Signed in Vilnius

As part of her official visit to Vilnius, President Salome Zourabichvili together with President Dalia Grybauskaitė will visit the National Cyber Security Center where the Defense Ministers of Lithuania and Georgia will sign a declaration of intent on cooperation in cyber security.

According to Ambassador of Georgia to Lithuania Khatuna Salukvadze, the declaration is a vivid example of advancing relations between the two countries.

“As you are aware, Georgia and Lithuania share active cooperation in defence and security areas. One of the key elements of this cooperation is cyber security.

The document aims at further activating Georgia-Lithuania cooperation in cyber security, identifying joint challenges and threats, and developing a common strategy to overcome these challenges,” Khatuna Salukvadze said.

The signing ceremony will be held at the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence.
