Lasha Abashidze appointed as the Head of the President’s Administration

Lasha Abashidze has been appointed as the Head of the President’s Administration of Georgia in accordance with the decree signed by President Giorgi Margvelashvili on February 18th, 2013.
In 2013, Lasha Abashidze was the manager of the election fund of presidential candidate Giorgi Margvelashvili and at the same time, his representative at the Central Election Commission of Georgia.
From 2012 to 2013, he worked on the position of the chief of the Internal Audit Department at the Ministry of Education and Science.
In 2010-2012, Lasha Abashidze was employed at the International Financial University in London - a financial institution provides loans and investment services. Lasha Abashidze worked as business development chief/ deputy CEO.
In 2004-2005, Lasha Abashidze studied at the Georgian Institute for Public Affairs (GIPA) and has got his master’s degree in public administration.
The head of the President’s Administration is a lawyer by profession. Namely, in 2004, Lasha Abashidze graduated from the law faculty of the Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University.
Lasha Abashidze speaks Georgian, English and Russian languages.
