President of Georgia attends conference Eastern Partnership - Roadmap after Vilnius Summit

President, Prime Minister and Parliament Chairperson of Georgia hosted the conference Eastern Partnership - Roadmap after Vilnius Summit today. The conference was dedicated to the 50th jubilee of the late Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Zhvania.

President addressed the participants of the conference, focusing on the importance of the Vilnius Summit for Georgia. Giorgi Margvelashvili emphasized the historic role of Zurab Zhvania in the process of Georgia's European integration.

'There are many coincidences today. We made a very serious step forward at the Vilnius Summit a few days ago, a firm step for the development of the country – we initialed the EU Association Agreement. It is the 50th jubilee of my friend and my ally, Zurab Zhvania today – with him I made first steps in politics. These coincidences have motivated me to talk not only about the political road we'll have to pass, but also about Zura's role in the processes, which were launched in the 90-ies in Georgia; the processes, which we have to pass together in the future.' Georgian President stated.
