President Margvelashvili: Adoption of Georgia Support Act Is Crucial to Overcome Existing Challengesვ

The President of Georgia, H.E. Giorgi Margvelashvili has held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador of the United States to Georgia, Ian Kelly.
The Ambassador has summarized his three year term in Georgia and discussed the ongoing political processes in the country.
The meeting focused on the US-Georgia relations, President Margvelashvili’s visit to the United States, his meetings held at the Senate, Congress and White House and Georgia Support Act. 
As President Margvelashvili said, considering escalated threats when democracy and freedom of Georgia and other leading states in the region have to be protected, adoption of Georgia Support Act and advancement of the US-Georgia relations are crucial to overcome the existing challenges.
On behalf of the Embassy, Mr. Kelly has expressed readiness to continue intensive cooperation with the Administration of the President and spare no efforts to support this important initiative.
