President Zourabichvili Visits Charity House Financed by Young Georgian Emigrant

President Salome Zourabichvili visited the Brotsliani Charity House, which operates under the financial patronage of 15-year-old Giorgi Vanko, a young and philanthropic Georgian emigrant.

Giorgi Vanko studies at the Amsterdam International School. The School has awarded him for his charity work.

The young philanthropist raised 22,000 euros in a year and a half, with his school’s assistance. With this funding, he will ensure that the third stage of the Charity House’s construction will be carried out, thus allowing the facility to house 26 more beneficiaries, on top of the current 20 patients.

Solar panels are also set to be installed on the Charity House thanks to the funding, reducing effectively the electricity bill of the facility.
