President Meets with MFAs of Hungary, Sweden, Poland, Bulgaria

President Salome Zourabichvili has met during the Batumi International Conference the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Sweden, Poland, and Bulgaria.

 

Georgia’s European partners reiterated their support of Georgia’s integration into Euro-Atlantic organizations during the XVI Batumi International Conference.

The meetings touched upon the events currently developing in Georgia, the situation in Georgia’s occupied territories, and the importance of European nations being actively engaged in the conflict resolution process.


Also discussed was the new direction for the economic relations between Georgia and its European partners. President Zourabichvili underlined the economic significance to encourage more European tourists to visit Georgia. The President is set to also meet with representatives of international financial institutions today.
