President Zourabichvili Pays Working Visit to Japan

President Salome Zourabichvili, along with world leaders and Japanese authorities, will attend the enthronement ceremony of Japanese Emperor Naruhito in Tokyo.
 
President Zourabichvili will meet with senior Japanese officials and hold bilateral meetings with the heads of different countries as part of her working visit. Her schedule includes meetings with:
·         H.E. Shinzō Abe, Prime Minister of Japan;
·         Akiko Santō, President of the House of Councilors in the House of Representatives of Japan
·         Yuriko Koike, Governor of Tokyo
·         Representatives of the Cybersecurity Group at the Security Center;
·         Members of the Georgian-Japanese Friendship Group in the House of Representatives of Japan;
·         H.E. Alexander Van der Bellen, Federal President of Austria; and
·         H.E. Armen Sarkissian, President of Armenia
 
 
The President will also be meeting, in order to deepen the cultural, sports, and touristic ties between Georgia and Japan, with heads of cultural institutions, the CEO of FUJIFILM Corporation, the President of the Japanese Olympic Committee, and the Honorary President of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. President Salome Zourabichvili will also visit the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo.
 
 
President Zourabichvili will meet with members of the Georgian diaspora and Georgian athlete Levan Gorgadze, also known as Tochinoshin Tsuyoshi (栃ノ心 剛史).
 
 
The President will complete her working visit to Japan on October 25.
