President Margvelashvili Discusses National Security Issues with the US Senators and Congressmen

Before leaving for the United States, the President of Georgia, H.E. Giorgi Margvelashvili met with the US senators and congressmen in Brussels and discussed national and regional security challenges. Special attention was drawn to the prospects of Georgia's Atlantic integration and the upcoming NATO Summit.
President Margvelashvili has called on the US senators and congressmen to raise Georgia on the agenda of the upcoming NATO Summit. As noted, the United States plays a special role in ensuring security in the region.
The meeting has also been attended by the Head of Administration of the President Mr. Giorgi Abashishvili, Secretary of the National Security Council Mr. Davit Rakviashvili, Advisor to the President for Foreign Affairs Mr. Tengiz Pkhaladze and Parliamentary Secretary of the President Ms. Ana Natsvlishvili.
