​President Salome Zourabichvili Presents Team of Advisors

Salome Zourabichvili, President of Georgia has held a press conference to present the team of advisors.
“Let me introduce you the core advisory team that is appointed today.
As you are aware, we are quite short of time at this moment; therefore, until the reorganization process is over and contest is held to compose the permanent staff, we start working in this format,” President Zourabichvili said.
As announced, Lasha Zhvania is appointed as the Head of President Zourabichvili’s Administration. Ketevan Makharashvili will take the office of the Deputy Head of President Zourabichvili’s Administration. She will also be responsible for coordinating President Zourabichvili’s activities in ethnic minority and gender equality issues. Ketevan Makharashvili will also assume the position of the press speaker.
Dimitri Gabunia is appointed as the Parliamentary Secretary of President Zourabichvili, while Simon Petridisi will work as the Advisor on Disability Issues.
"The Presidential Palace is not fully adapted to people with disabilities. We will start improving accessibility standards starting from the Presidential Palace,” Salome Zourabichvili added.
Natia Sulava is appointed as the Advisor to President Zourabichvili on Diaspora and Citizenship Issues; Alexander Barbakadze – Advisor on Military Affairs; Irina Shengelia – Public Relations Advisor; Kote Natsvlishvili –  Advisor on Culture, Education and Science Issues.
At the conference, President Zourabichvili has also presented Pierre-Alexandre Crevaux, prospective intern at the Administration. He is ethnic Georgian born and raised in Georgian-French family in emigration.
